Welcome to the Old Trains Fan website. This site is designed to foster an appreciation of old trains and the American Railroads.
I grew up on the railroad during the 1940’s and 1950’s and was around trains almost every day of my young life. I share some of my memories in Growing Up On The Railroad.
I have provided some highlights of the history of the American Railroad in American Railroad History.
